Description
Football culture refers to the cultural aspects surrounding association football. As perhaps the most global sport, football occupies a diverse reach, with varying overlap country to country. In many regions of the world, football has ingrained itself into national cultures and large parts of daily life. Many countries have daily newspapers and magazines entirely devoted to football. Football players, especially in the top levels of the game, have become seismic role models with god-like status. This course provides a deep-dive into articles on how football interacts with culture and offers an opportunity to practise your English through discussion and feedback with an experienced and football-loving teacher.
